Arts & Culture

This section collects my scholarly and public engagement work in arts and culture. Apart from scholarly output in books and articles, from 2016-21, I edited Arts & International Affairs a peer-reviewed journal published by the Policy Studies Organization that interrogated the nexus between the politics and economics of the arts through a global perspective.

A KEYNOTE ADDRESS THAT SUMMARIZES MY RESEARCH: What do global cultural flows tell us about our interest and values? And, what can we do about them?

ARTS AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

Listed below are my articles and editorials from Arts and International Affairs journal. AIA brought together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers in arts and cultural policy communities. Apart from peer-reviewed scholarly articles (“long-form”), AIA published two other types of commentaries: short “brushstrokes” articles on current and important issues, and “multimodal” articles that presented new methodologies for scholarly writing — including various textual and audiovisual forms.
